By 1993, Safeguard Scientifics partner company CompuCom had become one of the nation’s largest PC and network service providers, topping $1 billion in revenue. The company had first become a Safeguard partnership company in 1984 as a provider of products and services to help companies plan, implement and manage heterogeneous computing environments.
