CFO to CEO: How Company and Financial Experience Simplifies the Transition

During my tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Safeguard, I honed a set of skills that are serving me well today as President and Chief Executive Officer. Apart from stimulating and executing the the strategies that revitalized and strengthened Safeguard’s balance sheet and set the stage for continued growth and platform expansion, I also focused on investor relations and communications, two crucial skills for any CEO.

I recently spoke with Emily Chasan of the Wall Street Journal’s CFO Journal about how my time as CFO laid the groundwork and provided the fundamentals that will help me lead Safeguard forward.
