Senior Analyst, Technology Group
As a Senior Analyst in Safeguard’s Technology Group, Michael identifies, evaluates and provides strategic support for entrepreneurial technology companies. Michael leverages a deep understanding of the dynamic technology market and expertise supporting early stage companies through venture capital to provide support and insight to Safeguard’s partner companies.
Michael comes to Safeguard from Merrill Lynch, where he served as an analyst with the Technology Investment Banking group focusing on M&A and equity transactions for Enterprise Software and IT services companies. While at Merrill Lynch, Michael played a fundamental role in a number of successful transactions, including BladeLogic’s IPO. He previously worked at Bloomberg providing market research for the Connecticut Hedge Fund Sales group and at Morgan Stanley in the Private Wealth Management division. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management.
