As an Associate in Safeguard's Technology Group, Kartheek is responsible for deal screening, conducting due diligence on prospective acquisitions opportunities and supporting Safeguard’s technology partner companies.

Prior to joining Safeguard, Kartheek was a technology investment banker at Jefferies’ Foster City, CA office. At Jefferies, he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising efforts in the software, Internet and digital media sectors across the U.S. and Emerging Markets. Kartheek also interned at Booz Allen Hamilton and Goldman Sachs.

Kartheek graduated from Stanford University with a M.S. in Management Science & Engineering and from Cornell University with a B.S. in Operations Research & Information Engineering where he was a Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholar.
