Michael Tillmann — Vela Diagnostics
Michael Tillmann has over 20 years experience in senior executive positions in Multi National Companies in the Pharmaceutical and Diagnostics Industry. He recently founded Vela Diagnostics, a company focused on development and commercialization of Molecular In-vitro Diagnostics tests.
Michael gained over 10 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry before he moved into Diagnostics where he build up a Molecular Diagnostics start up, which was later acquired by Qiagen. In his 8 years with Roche Diagnostics, he lead the the Virology Business in Europe, the Regions Asia Pacific and North America from where he recently resigned as Chairman, President & CEO.
Today, Michael holds some Advisory and Board positions, where he works closely with the "Economic Development Board" of the Singaporean Government and other major Diagnostic market players like Qiagen AG, Germany.
