Christopher Simon — McKinsey & Company
For nearly 20 years, Chris has worked with clients in healthcare and consumer goods. He is one of the leaders of McKinsey's Global Specialty Pharmaceutical Practice and he has considerable experience in addressing strategic and operational issues in a range of different pharmaceutical and med tech companies, and healthcare services more broadly. His passion is working closely with senior executives to advance innovative technologies and to achieve fundamental improvement in business performance.
Based in McKinsey's New Jersey Office, Chris sits on McKinsey's Firmwide Committee that evaluates and recommends the election of new partners. He is a Dean of McKinsey's mid-tenure learning group and a core member of our functional learning team.
Healthcare is a return to Chris' roots. Before joining McKinsey, he worked in the industry as a Regional Operations Manager and Account Executive for Baxter Healthcare. Prior to Baxter, Chris served as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer in Korea and then with the 1st Ranger Battalion. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
