Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Communications
At Safeguard, John is responsible for developing, implementing and managing all aspects of the Company’s business development, corporate communications, strategic investor relations and marketing communications programs.
John brings to Safeguard an extensive background in investor relations and a solid platform in communications. Over the course of his career, John has assisted national and multinational companies with corporate communications, initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial media relations, investor targeting, meeting programs and crisis management.
Prior to joining Safeguard, John served as Vice President of Investor Relations at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a billion dollar software and services company. He played a key role in leading US operations as a managing partner for National Public Relations, Inc., a full service investor relations and corporate communications consulting firm. Prior to that, John was Director of Investor Relations at Thomson Financial/Georgeson & Company. He began his career at Robert Marston Corporate Communications after graduating from Susquehanna University.
John is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute.
